heeellooo my beautiful people!!! i’m back bc i’m a bitter stan  :)))))))))) ANYWAY, minhyun here is just like Jonghyun in most aspects of his personality, but i’ll get into that a little more below the cut!! hit me up or like this and i’ll slide into your dms for plots!!

okay sO basically:

- minhyun watched his dad die at 7 years old after being hospitalised for several months

- spending that long with his mom visiting his dad in the hospital was very bad for his mental health and he ended up developing anxiety around hospitals or any sounds that resemble the beeping of any hospital machine and some claustrophobia

- his claustrophobia isn’t everywhere that’s small or at all times, it depends a lot on the place and his mental setting

- music was what got him through his panic attacks, his mom having started singing to him whenever there were any sounds that triggered his anxiety, and later on he started doing it himself

- that’s where his producing days started, just making up songs in his head to keep himself calm

- he was cast at 16 and joined the kpop world then, having been a trainee throughout his high school years

- it wasn’t until two years after he graduated that he decided education was more important, and that he’d like to finish his before making a debut ( which he was ready for, a group of five having been formed with him, minhyun being the rapper, dancer and leader )

- so he took a break and decided to study music to improve his producing skills and performance  overall

and that’s how he ended up here!!! now for personality and hobbies/interests:

minhyun loves helping other people and watching them develop their kills and achieve their dreams, he supports all of his friends and will do his best to ensure they’re happy and content. he is very humble and while he likes celebrating other people’s small victories, he’d never care much for his own or think himself worthy of them... even though he hasn’t debuted yet, he already has somewhat of a fan base and while he feels like he did the right thing going to uni, minhyun still thinks he’s letting all the people who support him down, so he tries to stay very active on social media (aka his instagram - i might even make one for him ho knows?? ). he uses the dance studio a lot to stay in shape and not let himself slack off on dancing, and can b often found scribbling away in the corner of a napkin some lyrics he just couldn’t lose !!

and that’s my new baby for you!! i hope you treat him well bc he deserves the world ~~~(says my very biased arse) i don’t have a connections page for him but i’ll list some i’d love!!

- a muse of sorts, someone he resorts to whenever he is stuck or needs inspiration for a song

- he’s a gentleman so it’d be difficult to make this a bad one but i’d love to have an ex around??

- a crush/ someone for him to be secretly in love with but could never admit it bc the industry he lives in would ruin everything

how long has your character been on the island?  over a thousand years.

have they been effected by the trip? he’s been on the island so long that he has forgotten what his life was before he got there.

what time was your character pulled from? he was brought to the island along with his siblings, just after they were cursed by a witch to be slaves to the moon.

what is the last thing they remember? the last thing he remembers from the real world is his parents having he and his siblings cursed by a witch.

what are they doing since arriving on the island? mack owns a hotel that used to be a castle.  luckily it was empty when he arrived, because he couldn’t see himself living anywhere that wasn’t a castle.  it’s actually a front though, he rarely hires outsiders, and it isn’t often that he allows anyone other than werewolves stay in the hotel.  he claims that it’s due to safety, because he doesn’t want humans around during the full moon, and he definitely doesn’t want to risk one of his pack members accidentally killing someone.

how are they going to handle being stuck on obsidian cove?  he’s been on obsidian cove so long that he doesn’t consider it handling things any longer.

character headcanons

mack’s family were among the first citizens on the island, and were brought there soon after their father had them cursed by a witch, as a way to control them.  

mack’s father didn’t approve of who he chose to court, so instead of approaching his eldest son, and asking him to leave the girl, he chose to approach a witch, and ask them to do something regarding the union.

mack met a witch twenty two years ago, and had twin daughters with her, shortly thereafter, the two of them were married.

he isn’t exactly happy that the island is becoming so populated, but he’s become a part of the council now, so he feels like he has a bit of insight about the new arrivals.
