Our life together was alliterative, and when I think of all the little things which will die, now that we cannot share them, I feel as if we were dead too.
A drawing inspired by this quote, somehow, it just reminded me of the beautiful refined poses and flowers and atmosphere of rococo art. I tried to use a soft watercolor brush for the first time but I’m not too sure of the results. What do y’all think?

Who is the restless sleeper?
Lithuania, mostly, but both of them are to an exent.
Who eats cereal for dinner?
Poland, the Snack Boy, is the junk food eater at every possible meal, if Lithuania ever has cereal for dinner, it’s probably raisin bran or something similarly bland (don’t get me wrong, i love raisin bran, he is my ideal man)
Who wears odd socks?
Poland, but it’s a fashion statement!
Who reads more?
both of them read a lot; Poland enjoys classics, biographies of historical figures and poetry the most, Lithuania really likes sci-fi/fantasy books and adventure novels.
Who prefers a bath over a shower?
P O L A N D Lithuania is a practical guy, and showers are quicker and more environmentally friendly, but Poland? he takes at least one Treat Yo Self bath weekly, with MANDATORY face mask, bath bomb, bubbles, and all that. sometimes Liet joins him in the tub tho
Who can knit?
both of them! but only Lithuania really has the patience for it.
Who has the weirder laugh?
Poland, but just because it’s kind of high-pitched… he tries to keep it lowered a little but can’t always do that (laughter is harder to control than your regular speaking voice), and that’s fine.
Who gets more jealous?
I feel like at the start of their relationship Poland would have been the jealous one, but nowadays, he has really chilled out… and Lithuania is the one left with the occasional bursts of jealousy, but he tries not to overthink those things.(this reminds me of that strip where he was jealous of Italy and Po’s friendship… yes, he definitely is the jealous one sfdadsfd)
Who sleeps with a teddy bear?
Poland collects stuffed animals so it’s more likely that he does….
Who still uses internet explorer?
LITHUANIA IS. not even technologically impaired he’s computer ILLITERATE. if it were for him, his computer would still have windows 95 (and even then it took him years to learn how to use windows 95) but thanks to Estonia he updated it to XP around 2003. he refuses to replace it because it still works just fine. because as doubtful as he is about everything technology he does make sure that everything keeps running smoothly… he’s just that kinda guy yknow??? and yes, of course, he uses internet explorer- a couple years ago Estonia tried to get him to install at least firefox, but he never uses it…
Who is the most sentimental?
both of them are, but in different ways… :0 Poland is more of a romantic and melts whenever his bf comes home with roses or a cake, but Liet is the one who is always feeling sentimental about the past, and nature, and people,a grandpa in a twink’s body
Who can play an instrument?
Poland can play many instruments! It turns out that being immortal gives you enough lifetimes to learn how to play all sorts of music. His favorite are the lute, piano and cello though… Lithuania can sort-of play simple songs on a piano or keyboard because Russia and Belarus taught him how to.
Who has the worst sense of direction?
Poland has a terrible sense of direction but a sharp intuition. Lithuania has the maps and roads all figured out, but the moment he has to take a slightly different path for one reason or another, he’s LOST
Who cooks breakfast?
Poland can’t be bothered to cook and so he buys breakfast… he wakes up early to get something for Liet in cafés nearby… and always knows his favorite breakfast orders. Lithuania is the one who cooks, occasionally, he makes something simple like pancake or oatmeal but that’s fine, he’s trying… raisin bran

both, depending on the day. i feel like Poland is the “i woke up at 6 and now i can’t fall back asleep so i might as well do whatever” kind of early riser.Lithuania is the “i set an alarm to look at the sun rising” kind of early riser
