HS may be big on words but when it comes to showing affection he is all about gestures. He would go out of his way to make the other person happy, from cheesy romantic dates to being that one person that you can call in case of any emergency and count that they will be there. He will surprise you with little things and make you smile when you need it. He will show you that he is in 100%. He says those words mostly to his close friends and he does mean them since he cares about them. The same can be apply to his family. However, romantically, being really cautious with his words, when he says “I love you” it will be because he meant to say it and it will carry it’s meaning. He will actually love that person. If he would reply this he would probably say napping together. He is all about comfort but usually first dates are anything but comfortable. However, what he had with Taemin as a first date can be considered his idea of ideal date. If he could say it with no judgement it would be to communicate. He doesn’t like complicated situations created out of misunderstandings. So he would like his partner to talk those things out. Another one will be to not try and control him. He gets incredibly stubborn when that happens and will most definitely do the exact opposite that you want him to.

He is a really affectionate person. So he will show affection towards other people than his partner. He will be doing it without realising it. But he will never cross the boundaries. Overthinking his action is another big mistake he often makes. He reads too much into his own gestures and the responses earned from his partners.
