Watch Your Step ||

     Ashley lacked much energy from having just left the gym. He held just enough to walk himself home rather than call a cab, but only enough to permit him to take the backroads. The dragon roamed the streets with ease, paying little attention to his surroundings for he cared very little for them --if anything popped up, he figured he could easily defend himself. The situation never arose, however, so he worried not.

          It wasn't until he felt a presence that he put his guard up, but only slightly and continued to walk. When the presence lingered, showing no hints of leaving, he finally stopped dead in his tracks, irritated, and let out an agitated sigh.

     "Didn't your mother teach you not to stare," he spat as he turned on a heel, expression almost bored.
