I wasn't quite able to figure out what the other section was talking about, but given what we saw with Maa and the piano solo, it seemed like it was a similar vein of "rehearsals/backstage didn't seem to be going well (some whining, arguing, and sniping) but they worked hard and when the time came, they both looked like cool professionals on stage."
