my mom talks like that about the gems too omg. she calls pearl “the fairy” and amethyst “fish lips” and garnet “the one with the voice *deep voice* like this”

my moms always like “oh pearl, she needs a spa day, she’s gotta relax” and its honestly the funniest thing. As for garnet, my dad calls her “red michelle obama” - i honestly dont know why - parents euphemisms for the gems are the most amusing things 2 me ngl
