Personally, i love it when I find a good app that can help me with roleplay-related projects or just make my life easier with getting stuff for roleplay edits, profiles, etc. I’m also a tech nerd, so i just love having apps in general. Below I’ve listed a few applications I use to roleplay and what I use them for. Keep in mind some of these applications are not FREE. I ended up downloading them via torrents, if you’d like a link to any of them - feel free to message me. Also, these applications are on my macbook, which means i’m not sure if they have versions for windows.
Kaomoji Lover
— i use this for cute text emojis, this app comes with free text emojis and then others you have to pay for but the free ones are enough for me. This app is where I get emojis such as ( ・´◡`・ ) or ( ◠ ◡ ◠ ).
AdGuard
— this app i got recently and use it to block unwanted ads and popups, although roleplayer.me picks up on this app and might block you from using the sign until you disable it.
Bear
— this app was introduced to my either by Kiwi or Raiya Lovehart
( i can’t remember)
but it was recommended for school work, and although I use Evernote for school notes - Bear is a good place to store your multi-para replies if you’re roleplaying on the other side. It’s also a great place to save codes for layouts you’re working on — at least thats what I use it for.
Copy Clip 2
— I use this app to save everything i copy, because sometimes i copy one thing - forget and copy another thing and lose the first thing i wanted to copy. This app keeps a history of everything you copy and you can always go back and check if you copy the wrong code or whatever.
Instant Translate
— I use this app to translate Korean words or to translate phrases in english into another language when i want to curse my fam out haha. I like this app because it’s right on your mac’s menu bar so you don’t have to open anything or search for a translating site, just click and translate.
Itsycal
— this app is purely for aesthetics, its a small calendar application that goes on your macs menu bar. I use this just to quickly see the calendar because sometimes people ask me for something and i’m too lazy to open the calendar application.
Quicktab for Instagram
— this app is my go to for instagram pictures now, it can open up on your mac’s menubar or in the doc, and it lets you upload on instagram aswell as see your instagram feed. It’s great because you can change the app’s window size to super small and have it on the side or go full screen. I like this because it makes easier to see my instagram feed and find pictures to edit and make premades of.
Photoshop cs5
— i use this app to make psds/actions, for some reason i feel like editing defaults looks better on cs5 than photoshop CC.
