Backup Tumblr for Mac
So, I was able to backup my Tumblr really easily using the recommended text prompt information located here: https://github.com/bbolli/tumblr-utils/blob/master/tumblr_backup_for_beginners.md If you have anyone who knows Unix/Linux, etc., they can help you adapt this for a Macbook or whatever. That's what I have. We didn't have to download Python. My husband just had me enter the commands in a text prompt window. Sorry I can't give you more help than that. (Also, it hit an error when we tried to include my videos in the download. I'm not sure why, but we just did it without the videos, because none of them are my own source. It went SO FAST, like 10 minutes for a smallish Tumblr since 2013, that we will try it again next week to see if we can get the videos.)
