Hey I’m really sorry to bother you but could you tell me how you made Rayla’s swords? I’m making them for a school project (Costume Tech Theatre) and I’m fairly new to cosplay. Once again I’m really sorry to bother you and I understand if you ignore this.

Hi there! Sorry, but I didn't make them--i bought 3D prints from unsupervisedcreations on Esty. I just sanded, primed, and painted them with acrylics!

If you have access to a 3D printer, you can model and make them yourself. If I had to make them myself, I'd start patterning the swords out of cardboard/cardstock and layer them up and glue them! And papier mache also is a great way to make lightweight weapons, but it might be difficult with such thin blades.

Materials I haven't used but have heard GREAT things about are Worbla and EVA foam! I suggest checking out Kamui Cosplay, she makes a ton of weapons and has some tutorials you can apply to Rayla's swords!!

Not normally, but I wouldn't mind doing sketches if it's trolls stuff! 👀 probably nothing super finished like my last piece unless I have time tho!

Ya I am good! Kinda glad I got away, good to focus on other stuff. Mostly came back here for the art scene and to maybe expand my portfolio a bit for fanzines.
