I’m an avid reader of the Web series Lore Olympus by Rachel Smythe, her designs are absolutely gorgeous and the world of Lore Olympus is fascinating to read.

So Here is my version of Lore Olympus Persephone’s most famous child Makaria: goddess of blessed death.

I ended up designing her 3 times but I’m quite happy with this final version.

Demeter spoiling her baby gran-babies <3

Demeter: *coming to the underworld*

Demeter: hellooooo~ It's grandma~!

Melinoe and Macaria: yaya!

Persephone: mom, you're here!... again...

Demeter: well of course i am! I don't think is fair for my little gran-babies to see their yaya only three months a year!

Demeter: oh! I brought presents!

Demeter: there you go! Textbooks for my little saffron.

Melinoe: thank you grandma.

Demeter: and for little Macaria, a beautiful dress! Isn't it adorable?

Hades: you know i do already buy them all of that, right?

Demeter: these are better.

My headcanon/thoughts on LO Zagreus, Macaria and Melinoe. Part 3.

Zagreus:

-In order to become an olympian, first he had to be acknowledged as a god by the mortals and gain worshipers.

-His boyfriend Prosymnus passed away during his "campaign" to become a worshipped god. He made his thyrsus as a memento to him.

-He inherited Zeus' passion, but also learned from Hades' demeanor.

-Along with his pet panther, he ended up adopting many felines such as lions, cheetas, tigers and domestic cats. He treats them all like little kittens.

-He met Ariadne some months after becoming oficially an olympian. Apparently they both have a dislike for Theseus.

-His parents are very proud of their relationship. Hades even allowed her father, King Minos, to become a judge at the underworld as a favor to her.

-Ariadne adores his "cats". She has plenty of thread balls to play with them.

-She's fully aware of his hedonistic ways, but she doesn't really mind. She just enjoys his company and likes to see him having fun at what he does best.

Macaria:

-She met Icarus before the maze was built. She collected his soul when he fell in the sea, as well as his father's.

-She was already dating Thanatos by then.

-She was put in charge of the Fortunate Isles as a promotion gift. Hades got this idea from Odin and the Valhalla at the UnderworldCon.

-She's very studious. Her grades were as good as her mom's when she was her age.

-She mistook Hypnos with Thanatos when they first met. They are very similar in appareance (Hypnos wears lenses and less casual hairstyle).

-She prefers to go to work by flying because Persephone told her that not using her wings would make her a lazybones. Thanatos almost dies (of embarassment) when she told him.

-She had the same lock in her hair ever since she was a baby.

-Oppositely to her family, she gets cute when she's angry.

Melinoe:

-She's the only one of her siblings that has met Kronos face to face.

-She likes to call Deimos and Phobos "Idiot 1" and "Idiot 2".

-Just like her mother, her hair grows when she's stressed, but also when she's mad.

-She can turn into a ghost-like form.

-Only her left eye's sclera turns red when she's angry.

-She doesn't trust Zeus, but she still tolerates him as her uncle. Poseidon is her favourite.

-Even if Iris' crush on her is not reciprocated, she appreciates her a lot 'cause she was the first person who wasn't scared of her when they met.

-She also was her first kiss.

-She thinks Zephyrus is a nice guy. Also thinks that his crush on Iris is quite obvious.

Macaria: *getting into the storage room*

Thanatos: *turns the light on*

Macaria: Thanks for coming here.

Macaria: I have this idea i want to show to my father but-

Thanatos: *kisses her*

Macaria: *shocked* !!!

Macaria: *joins the kiss* …

Macaria: *stops* What are you doing?!

Thanatos: Sorry! It's... just an old habit...

Macaria: Not gonna ask...

*silence* …

Thanatos: Wanna do it again?

Macaria: ... okay.

Thetis' going down:

Thanatos: listen Thetis. You know recently i took an interest on Macaria and... well...

Eris: what my jumpy li'l brother is trying to say is... you two can't be friends anymore.

Thetis: fine! Keep your stupid little underworld princess.

Thetis: i don't need any friends. I got myself a new sugar daddy. A PRINCE!

Thetis: and you know what? You two are oficially UNINVITED!

Thanatos: huh?

Eris: WHAT?!

Thetis: Psk. Yeah. Who wants the gods of death and strife in their wedding anyway? You two give a bad message.

Thetis: so long suckers! *she leaves*

Eris: *breathes*

Thanatos: *nervous*

Thanatos: are...you ok sis?

Eris: ohh i'm deffinitely gonna ruin that b!tch's wedding...

So Melinoe likes drawing. Do she and her siblings have any other artistic hobbies?

Dionysus: of course, i love theatre! Both view it and acting.

Dionysus: i also like taking pictures of my cats for my social networks but thats just for occasional amusement.

Macaria: well... i did a lot of activities in highschool for my report but... i'm not sure if those count as hobbies.

Macaria: spelling, pottery, decorating, choir, athletics, oboe, ballet, chess... but i think ice skating with my dad was my favorite when i was little...

Macaria: yeah, definitelly ice skating.

Melinoe: well... i also write poetry... it's not a big deal.

What are Mac's feelings towards her grandma Demeter? (you never brought that up)

Youre right about that. I never brought that up because i didnt think much about it. 

But if i had to, i'd say their relationship is pretty natural. Demeter loves all her grandchildren a lot but has different ways to interact with them. 

I'd say she sees Macaria as a young version of Persephone, so sometimes she cant help but to interact with her as she did when she was raising her, but she can also see that she's more emotionally mature than her mom when she was her age and that makes her feel proud of how Persephone raised her into such a responsible and smart young lady. She also thinks Hades spoils her a little too much, but she also considers him a good father, even if their relationship development is still having a slow progress, but theyre in better terms now.

Macaria also feels proud and loves her grandma a lot, even if she can be smothering sometimes. She even considers her as a rolemodel occasionally and talks with her about stuff she doesnt feel like talking with her parents. Demeter has offered her many times to work for her in Barley Mother but she respectfully declined, she already made her mind into working in UnderworldCorp.
