Was in #philadelphia #pa this weekend for my sisters bachelorette weekend and before we left, we ate at this amazing #french #restaurant called @parcrittenhouse on #locustst . Their coffee was amazing (ofc) and so was their food (ofc). I had the #macaronigratin aka #macaroniandcheese and the #croquemadame ! My sister had the #cheeseomelette , her fiancé had the #steakandeggs , my brother had the #frenchtoast , my bff had the #lobsterbisque and the #chickenpaillard , and then our last friend got the #eggsbenedict . All of this food for brunch. It’s a beautifully decorated cafe that definitely exudes “french” in terms w the wallpaper, the neat uniforms the waiters wore, and just the essence of what #frenchculture emulates. The macaroni gratin was so amazing! So creamy and delicious and the breadcrumbs on top were just the right amount of crunch needed. My main dish, croque madame, was delicious. It’s toast topped with delicious ham and over easy egg and doused with just the right amount of cheese and gravy.
