Was in #philadelphia #pa this weekend for my sisters bachelorette weekend and before we left, we ate at this amazing #french #restaurant called @parcrittenhouse on #locustst . Their coffee was amazing (ofc) and so was their food (ofc). I had the #macaronigratin aka #macaroniandcheese and the #croquemadame ! My sister had the #cheeseomelette , her fiancé had the #steakandeggs , my brother had the #frenchtoast , my bff had the #lobsterbisque and the #chickenpaillard , and then our last friend got the #eggsbenedict . All of this food for brunch. It’s a beautifully decorated cafe that definitely exudes “french” in terms w the wallpaper, the neat uniforms the waiters wore, and just the essence of what #frenchculture emulates. The macaroni gratin was so amazing! So creamy and delicious and the breadcrumbs on top were just the right amount of crunch needed. My main dish, croque madame, was delicious. It’s toast topped with delicious ham and over easy egg and doused with just the right amount of cheese and gravy. Been walking past this restaurant #chuysraleighnc for the last year or so and have always wanted to try it out. Today I finally did. My mom and I had a massage and ended up trying this place. It’s currently the Green Chile Festival and I tried out the Green Chile Combo w the Pablano Enchilada and the Chicken Rilleno w Green Chile sauce and it was superb!! My mom just had the grilled chicken salad w freshly made vinaigrette and she loved it! To start it off, every mexican restaurant gives chips and salsa the moment you sit down. Oh my god. Their salsa was so freshly made that it made everything even better. The chips were well fried and thin enough to capture the salsa and not be too filling. Overall will give this place 8.8/10. I’m going to put this out there for the Supecorp fandom…  I think Lena’s sport would have been fencing.  It’s basically chess plus swords.  It’s all about strategy and outmaneuvering your opponent.  it’s image is both nerdy and elitist.  It’s solitary, and it’s just violent enough.  That’s Lena’s sport imo.
