Kate Fleetwood as Lady Macbeth | 2010
I am in blood stepped in so far that, should I wade no more, returning were as tedious as go o’er.
The Thirty-One Witches of Halloween, Day 23: The Witches from "Macbeth."
Tangential to the plurbcourse, you're not uncultured if you don't like Shakespeare. Mom and I were watching the 2010 Macbeth tonight with Patrick Stewart, and while it's a very good adaptation, bruh there 1000% was a simpler way to say half of this shit. In small doses, the flowery dialogue has been one of the most resilient landmarks of Western literature. But there's nothing wrong with preferring more modern, naturalistic styles of writing; sitting through this for 2 hours absolutely provokes a kneejerk "Jesse what the hell are you talking about?!" reaction after a while.
Some of Shakespeare's inaccessibility to modern audiences comes from the way some of these olde baroque turns of phrase have fallen out of fashion. But even at the time they were written, keep in mind not every Elizabethan peasant stuck around trying to parse these four-dollar vocabulary words. A lot of them got bored and left to go watch the bear-baiting act instead.
does anyone here knows or has a link where i can watch macbeth (2010) with patrick stewart pls?
macbeth (2010) set designers are like 'is anyone going to put a sink there' and then don't wait for an answer
Okay but like I recently watched 2010 macbeth because my English class was reading macbeth and honestly it was really good
