My second machine sewing project! A birthday present for a friend that I did from a Compass Bag pattern from Noodlehead! I've not done much at all with my machine so I did it twice, the first bag is for me and is where I practiced sewing straight lines and made all my happy mistakes.

I definitely recommend the pattern, it taught me so much, there's plenty to customize (like the pockets here you can see are two different kinds) and there are videos online of people showing how to do it.

Butterick B6682. Last one!!! As much as I love this pattern, I will be giving it an extended break at this point. Definitely have enough versions of it, and it takes more fabric than many of my other favorite patterns. Feeling pretty motivated today, so we'll see how far I can get on the to sew pile.

Butterick B6682. 2 of 3. Numbers 2 and 3 have been sitting half finished on my sewing table since April. I finished this one and made some good progress on the last one. Hopefully, I will continue to find the motivation to sew and finish the last one in less than 2 months.

Making a Baggu dupe for a friend's going away present. This was a mockup to see if I could do the pattern justice and she loves the colors so going to make hers later this week. Hoping to get a local company to embroider her initials or a small image of something to remind her of the area. Fingers crossed that won't be an arm and a leg!

Really stoked with how it's turned out so far! Especially since I didn't have a zipper foot or a top stitch foot.
