This seemed like a nice town thus far. Despite what Chopper had heard about this town being almost too boring and normal, Chopper honestly didn't find anything worth complaining about. Then again, he tried to lay low for most of his stay in this place. The reason being that most people he came across in this world were critical of his appearance.
Chopper couldn't exactly blame them. After all, an anthropomorphized reindeer was pretty abnormal, no matter what standards were being used to define it. Japan was a bad place to be. It was a country known for being superstitious. A cute little reindeer could easily be interpreted as a demon taking a presentable form to fool the populace.
With a squeak emitting from each step of his hooves, Chopper let out a small sigh. The pain of boredom dulled his physical exhaustion, letting him forget about how tired he was. His maroon colored shorts had a bit of dirt on them. It was likely from a brawl or some other type of outdoor activity. Given the location, perhaps Chopper was merely defending himself. Judging from the brief moment of sighing, his voice seemed to be soft, reminiscent of a child's. He didn't sound older than an eleven year old.
Finally, the boy spotted someone more approachable than most. A beautiful teenager with black hair. Chopper couldn't exactly tell that what he was sensing was fighting spirit from the girl, as she was a skilled martial artist. With an excited grin, he ran toward the adorable teenager, hoping to make a new friend.
Once the boy stopped in front of the martial artist, he tilted his head upward in order to make proper eye contact with her. Two things were likely to catch her attention before he said anything. Chopper's bright blue nose, which often got him bullied in his childhood, and the brace wrapped around his left antler from a fight during his younger years. Despite the injury, his warm smile toward this girl seemed to show genuine excitement. Reaching his scrawny right arm forward, Chopper placed his small hoof atop her knee, hoping to get the fighter's attention. "Excuse me!" He excitedly cheered out, awaiting her reply.
