Since about last year I’ve wanted to go into either astrobiology, glacial or geosciences or astrophysics. Ideal life is some type of field research in far flung places to study small cells and Big landscape things evolving. I haven’t narrowed it down 👍
I am deathly terrified of spiders . You laugh, but I will faint . I have fairly bad anxiety as well so pretty much any Big Scary Concept will send me spiralling. Contrary to this I have the self preservation skills of an excitable lizard, and have no problem throwing myself off of high things, climbing big slippery rocks or testing my god gifted plot armour
there’s a few old old Australian ones from my childhood that I think deeply changed my psyche and dreams for years. When I tell you I remembered the vague sense of danger and the fear of the (arguably terrifying even now) plotline but nothing else, I am not lying. The adventures of pearl pinkie and sea greenie, and the four books? About snugglepot and cuddlepie <- don’t laugh. There were evil sentient pinecones and a lot of kidnapping
I think the original how to train your dragon books have also stuck with me a lot! It’s still my favourite series to reread even now
