Can people for the love of god STOP bashing on WillMack while hyping up MackCherny??? Both are incredible duos on the ice. Why are we acting like Will and Mack were ass together, legit one of the most successful duos in the league before Will got injured. Just be happy all works well in the team right now with these youngsters, you can be happy for Cherny and Mack without bashing Will every chance you get. It is annoying and not beneficial in any way.

Only child Prince!Cherny x Middle child Prince!Mack

Mack is like the prodigal son in his family and is expected to bear so much responsibility in the family, possibly being the next heir to the kingdom

Meanwhile Prince!Cherny works his behind off and his parents still partially don’t trust him to be King some day, trying to convince him he’s still young and has time to enjoy his youth.

They both wanna be one another and bond over it

And then they kiss😊

I'm thinking... their two kingdoms have an alliance born out of support and friendship, an alliance that was created long before Mack and Igor were born, so the two grew up together. Until Igor was sent away for his studies, of course. Mack never forgot him. Never. And Igor never forgot Mack.

Even if he had wanted to, how could he? Mack is the prince everyone talks about all the time.

Igor isn't jealous to the point of hating Mack - no way, he's been in love with him for far too long for that to be the case - but he is jealous. When he finally returns from his studies elsewhere, he vows to only be honest with Mack. He doesn't want to hurt him.

Of course, Mack only feels the same. He wishes the pressure was less. Wishes he could just be the kid he still feels himself to be. And besides, Igor telling Mack how he feels only strengthens his feelings for the him, throwing another hurdle in his path.

I'm also thinking of Mack and Igor stealing away to hidden corners of their individual family castles when they really should be in diplomatic meetings. It's always Mack's idea, of course (Igor does want to be able to lead his people, after all), but Igor's not really complaining when his mouth is meeting Mack's, the taste of fresh strawberries on his tongue.
