OC HEIGHT CHART: Rageons and Trolls

Few days ago (18 September precisely), I lost it and decided to draw a wholeass height reference chart for my Rageon OCs (and Trolls!).

Left to right:

Funk Troll, Hermit, Thunderstar, Silkbass, Supernova, Cecilia, Wynnfrost, Wynnfrey, Mackenzie, Mikey

I realized that I don't have a proper ref sheet of them and I knew I had to fix that. Obviously this doesn't look like a really clean design, as everything is hand drawn. Though the grid on the back is a bunch of not-so-accurate lines stretched from the left to right

But hey, we have the actual numbers now!

NOTE: the numbers look weird and its because I'm using feet while also putting them as decimals (say, 5½ feet -> 5,5 feet) - I didn't use the usual feet-inches format (say, 5 feet 2 inches -> 5'2").

I don't know why I didn't go straight away to meters but I guess I was feeling experimental

... Also I swear I gave the Funk Troll a name but I legit forgot 😭😭😭 The moment I have an idea for em I'll update the tag here...

Either way, I love love LOVEEE the idea of Rageons being the "closest" to humans in the Trolls franchise, while also being unnerving next to an actual human - height is one of them.

NOTE 2: Mikey is a bit of a special case as he is the youngest from them all; he's 13 while the others are roughly 17 above. What I'm saying here is that God knows if Mikey will have a growth spurt or not LMAO (he might even pass over Supernova!)

The Apollo Siblings: Refined!

Do you know that Raging Silkbass has two younger siblings? Mikey and Mackenzie? Yeah

Decided that that was the day I wished to clean up their colors and designs !! And I did !!

I think it would be neat if I tweak their hue a bit - in a way, Silkbass is mostly middle on red, while Mackenzie is leaning to pink and Mikey to orange. Also Silkbass has a bit of a stubble now (if I remember to draw that in future doodles that is)

Anyways, here's Mackenzie! Her design has been refined and now it's much more clear on what kind of moth she is (a geometrid moth!) and the color palette.

Some Points surrounding Mackenzie:

She does not have four arms. That second pair is plush! And her shoes are just designed in a way as if she has her toes out (get bamboozled!)

Her wings and antennae can move based on her expression! Except it's not part of her body - it's an engineering marvel!

She lives in a condo somewhere deep in Mount Rageous, with four other room mates.

And then we have Mikey. He has the most change in terms of EVERYTHING. His color palette is now monochromatic-ish, and his personality has its edgy bar ramped up to the MAX. Why did I do that?......Honestly, a part of me wanted to have an edgy OC so..... I'm taking my chances

Also he looks a bit too tall here and that one's on me, my bad chat (I was too engulfed in drawing him haha). Though it would be funny if he was so tall that he's taller than both Mackenzie and Silkbass LMFAO. Bro stole both of their height - AND HE'S THE YOUNGEST ONE. Anyways

Some Points Surrounding Mikey:

He's part of a baseball team in Mount Rageous! Specifically the batter. Obviously in game he uses a wooden bat, but casually? Metal bat.

Still looks up to Silkbass, and still misses hanging out with him. (come to think about it, he's Silkbass but way edgier)

Lonely boy. Though he made a connection here and there with the more rowdy Rageons in Mount Rageous - you'll probably find him vandalizing things

So yeah! The Apollos! Gotta make their reference sheets soon.................Soon enough...........................

MORE MOUNT RAGEON OCS

And a lot of changes are made on some of em, Arching Thunderstar most prominently. Both appearance AND LORE !!!!! Raging Silkbass is second to this.

Technically this change was made in my Twitter months ago, but I'm gonna slowly show it here! Anyways. What if I tell you that...

Arching Thunderstar has cousins now!

Wynnfrey Artemis & Wynnfrost Artemis

... Okay this isn't actually their first doodle ever, as the one you're seeing right now is made back at February 27th. But oh my God I messed up the expressions in that doodle lol so I didn't feel like putting it here. Or y'know what I'll just put it later.

these were made. I eventually tweaked their appearance over time... Anyways:

Their main alias is "Wynnter Twins."

Wynnfrey is nicknamed Raine, while Wynnfrost is simply Frost. (Thunderstar likes calling her Frosty (the snowgirl), and she does NOT like it).

They are both the older cousins of Arching Thunderstar! To be precise, 7 years older (since Thunderstar is 19, they would be 26 years old, God help them!).

Wynnfrey is the older one, being born earlier by 15 minutes...

Their father is the older brother of Thunderstar's father!

They have every achievement for some reason, probably because of the nature of their parents.

They are respectively based on rain and snow, yet have each other's decorations instead

... One of them smokes. Guess which one.

I'll just be honest, they're just V&V but winter themed. One major difference is that they DID work hard to get the Super Star title (oh hell, they won The Lifer Award when Thunderstar was still 9!)

They used to have longer fangs like Thunderstar, but theirs are permanently shaved.

They both have beauty marks! Except Wynnfrost doesn't like it, hence the long bangs.

There are more fun facts of them but I'll spill deeper in later posts maybe. For now have these quick goofy expression doodles LMAO (made also at February 27th!)

Speaking of siblings.... Raging Silkbass are also dragged into this mess; He has two younger siblings!

Mackenzie Apollo & Mikey Apollo

You may notice that they're drawn differently than the doodles above... and that's because these two are made way before I have the thought of the Wynnter Twins lol. These were made back at 4th February!

FYI: the doodle says bigender, but I later updated it into Genderfluid, my bad!

Anyways:

Mackenzie has a lot of nicknames: Mac, Ken, Kenzy, etc. While Mikey is just Mike and Mickey... or Michael (he's not a fan of either nicknames, he just prefers Mikey)

Mackenzie is 2 years younger than Silkbass, while Mikey is 6 years younger than Silkbass.

They are both really close to Silkbass, especially with Mikey looking up to him... They really missed him too when he ran away with Thunderstar to Mt. Rageous.

Silkbass's transition made Mackenzie contemplate his identity.

Mackenzie is a V&V fan! He's still processing the fact they're both frauds (cried for hours)

Mikey doesn't like being seen without his hat, he thinks his hair is too "silly" (it's too curly, but straightening it seems goofier so he just hid it away)

Mackenzie loves geodes and moths, while Mikey really likes walruses.

Mackenzie is probably a furry.

All the Apollo siblings have lower fangs AND signature stripes in their hair!

I could go further and further but that's for another day (totally not because I haven't cooked more lore for them yet).

Since Mount Rageons are a generally flexible species, I like to think that when a Rageon, say, overworked their jaw or something. It'll probably droop down until it completely healed,,,

While waiting for it to heal, they probably looked goofy
