“Oi, you’ve had enough, you idle rich pigs. I don’t mind stealing bread from your decadent mouths.”
"Commie Scottish Kim Pine" kek basically.
I'm damn surprised a character like this didn't already exist. Moody freckled redhead ancom revolutionary seems... I dunno, maybe too obvious?
She appears very early on in the story. She was supposed to appear later at the Gagnons, but plans changed. Now I'm baffled how I ever thought putting her off made any sense.
Part of the Foreign Legionary forces of the Maquis Rouge, she gets stationed in the House of Special Purpose early on in September 2054, eager to get up close and personal with the Séville royal family.
I am very strongly debating if she should be in on the Meki conspiracy or not. The literal only benefit of her not being aware is that her disdain for the royals makes her shittalking a teenage girl funnier since it'd be sincere. But she could honestly act as the first character who undergoes the "spiritual sigh of relief" mini-arc upon discovering the sad-eyed grand-princess is not actually her class enemy after all, setting up the running gag of just about everyone and their gran going "Wait, what? SHE'S Meki??"
(In universe that'd be about as shocking as a hypothetical discovery Baron Trump is actually a Marxist-Leninist who was funding Mamdani's campaign and the EZLN. It's the equivalent of a discovery that Anastasia Romanov did actually survive, but because she was actually a Bolshevik since before the revolution and was coordinating with them to take down the Tsar the entire time. It's so ludicrously absurd as to be a schizophrenic fantasy, yet it's the reality these characters are living, and the looks on their faces when they discover it is the most enjoyable thing to write)
