The littlest (and lowest power) #amp in my collection. Also, arguably, the coolest design: 2010 Mack Gem. 4 watts, but switchable to 0.4 watts for the avid bedroom player. One EL84 and one 6AC10 triple triode preamp tube. 8" wide x 5.5" tall and weighs 4 lbs. I have several very cool #vintageamps in my #ampcollection, but believe it or not, this 1965 #Fender #Champ may be my favouritest of the whole bunch. It’s quieter, volume-wise, than my other Champs and starts to overdrive at a very low level, maybe at 3 or 4 on the volume knob. It has almost no “headroom” lol. However this makes it perfect for playing with nice, natural, overdrive at apartment-friendly volumes. An amp tech would give it a once-over and no doubt tell me a tube or some other component was failing...but I want it to stay exactly like it is. It’s perfect for my low volume, naturally overdriven needs! PS that’s a 4 watt/0.4 watt #MackGem #amp on top.
