When I was younger, I constantly felt insecure with my appearance. I was always hiding something: my acne, my self harm marks, my sexuality, my femininity. A just-announced new model of the iPhone (even if the number in its name referred to its ability to connect to faster cellular networks, not that it was the "third" model) added hardware and software features people had been identifying as missing. This issue still pointed out remaining missing features ("copy and paste," "card slot for memory expansion," and "easy battery replacement" among them).
