Prince Reuben--or Rube, as he more commonly went by--strolled about the castle halls in his usual casual getup for a nation that didn’t exempt yoshis from public decency laws: open blue vest, black shorts, and his normal blue boots. He spent a good bit looking about as he roamed the place until he spotted his target.
As soon as he caught sight of the princess--his cousin’s daughter--he slid into view with a friendly wave. All previous interactions up to that point had been entirely formal, and he wanted to change that.
“Alex! Hey!” he grinned. “Got a minute, girl? I mean, it just feels like we never get the chance to hang out like family. All business, no pleasure. Ya feel me?”
