In the 80s, Macross licensing was a little fluid. Testors, known for plastic model paints and tools, also has their own model kits. They had a line of R.O.B.O.T. kits which were licensed 1/200 Macross vehicles. They kept the Macross series name and vehicle designations names like Valkyrie. The packaging had vibrant orange highlights with nice box art of the vehicles.
