It was still one of the few places Yosuke ever expected to wind up. He'd pretty much expected to not get accepted anywhere and wind up working at Junes for the rest of his life. Surprisingly enough, he'd managed to pull his grades up enough to get accepted. His reaction when getting his acceptance letter was nothing short of shock.
It took him awhile to get used to it. At first he just felt like it was going to be a burden. Yet another thing for him to fail at, but after a very convincing talk from his best friend, he found himself very ready to tackle it. He wasn't quite ready for the next surprise. During one of his shifts at Junes he'd been talking with Saki, who decided to take a year off from school after graduating. It turned out that she'd gotten accepted as well, but wasn't able to attend because the girl's dorms were full and it'd be too much of a hassle to commute between Inaba and Okina every day.
Yosuke took it upon himself to try and solve the situation. He was without a roommate and after a long and very strict talk with the dean he'd been able to convince him to let them room together. It was an offer that he was actually rather surprised that Saki ended up taking. What woman would ever want to room with pervy old Yosuke anyways?
And yet there he was, sitting on his bed as he waited for Saki to return from Inaba. While Yosuke was still technically underage they'd decided to celebrate by having a little something to drink. He was curious as to what she'd select for them and what exactly it'd be like. He'd never consumed or even slightly tasted alcohol before, so it was bound to be an experience. Hopefully nothing too crazy happened...
