I'm legit about to crash the fuc out I swear to god, one night after playing requiem just before reaching the end of the care center level I had a dream where I followed an achievement guide where u had to dump bodies into a grinder for 15 minutes and then drain the basin which would leave behind a doll which you'd need for a later part of the puzzle and when i woke up I was like "well that was weird" and kept playing and had A FUCKING MENTAL EPISODE WHEN I GOT DOWN TO THE ACTUAL GRINDER. but I thought no way u can actually get a doll here that would be weird

studying linguistics keeps reminding me how little the average person knows about languages and how many misconceptions there are and it makes me really sad because its (1) really important to know basic things about the thing we use to communicate every day and (2) there's just so much racism and ableism in the preconceptions people have about other languages (including signed languages) and if you try to begin and explain why they're wrong they start acting like youre attacking their very being as a person because they must know it because they speak a language and have ears as if that qualifies you to speak about languages and absolves you of steretyping

I was scrolling through yt lives and one was this woman she was like 50 and she was super like idk She loves America anyway she was being rude to someone in chat and they said she was a 'country bumpkin' and SHE SAID 'you probably ride on the short bus :/' OML THAT WAS RUDE I saw that person that made the comment liked stray kids(my fav band) so I said "omg stray kids fan" THIS LADY(the lady who was streaming) SHE SAID 'no we don't like stray kids and kpop and Koreans here' :O so I told her off kinda THIS WOMAN HAD THE AUDACITY TO SAY 'well you're so unintelligent and you're probably one of those nerodivurgets' (idk how to spell that) IM NEITHER OF THOSE SO I WANTED TO CUSS HER OUT BUT I just reported her ANYWAYS that upset me bye.

I realize when I call my Reppy Tom, that it's his poor staffer that has to deal with me, so I always go out of my way to talk at them;

Stop with Noora's shitty story

I don't understand the insistence of all Skam writer so far of having Noora as the main character of the whole show. The fact that her story is so cliché and it's so sickening the show doesn't even solve the sexual assault problem and the toxic relationship. There is a reason each character has a season, if I'm watching Amira's season, I really don't care about Mia and let's not even talk about the overly simplification of being bisexual and being a bi girl dating girl, the "she just finished a hetero relationship so all seriousness out of the window, let's experiment right after", as if only bi girl with boy relationships are valid. The fact that they keep stealing screen time from the main, and throwing in the trash all the important representation Amira as a muslim deserves, it's so enfuriating, because it's basically saying "you're still a minority so in depth we don't really care about what happens to you".

Even Skam France, season 4 was the worst of them (same as season 2 with the unsolved sexual assault case and toxic relationship) and overly dramatic, shit like that doesn't scalate that way in real life. Imane as a muslim girl gets treated horribly, with the girl squad being such garbage and never undestanding that they were at fault and Imane had no reason to apologize.

Skam France season 4 ended up being "white girls don't understand minorities' struggles and let it pass over their heads (while being rude) even when told directly to their faces". Sofiane was so weird and toxic dating HER FRIEND right after being rejected and expecting to be treated normally while doing the typical salty!ex thing to do. And Manon's story, she was a disaster as a friend and her story is just trash but kept coming back and stealing more than half her season.

Euphoria Episode 5 Thoughts also I’m pissed

How is Euphoria gonna tease us like that?! They leave off on last weeks episode with a rules kiss (that’s the new ship name idgaf) and then this weeks episode all we get is some bullshit beating around the bush content. I’m mad as hell that I had to wait a week for what I just saw. But on the bright side next week we get a Halloween themed episode with another rules kiss :)

I really, really fucking hate being labeled a Grinch (or Humbug, or other Holiday-Hater term) because I'm not all into the Christmas music, movies, etc.

Like, do I have to explain that sometimes people have complicated pasts? Do I have that some people aren't watching the Christmas commercials for the products but for the seemingly happy relationships they portray instead? The ones we're missing this time of year. Do I really fucking have to explain it? Again? Am I going to have to explain it again?
