Modular Synth & Max MSP Demo
Today for our weekly Face to Face session we received a demonstration of how one of the Modular Synthesizer’s from the studio operates and some deeper understanding of the differences in waveforms that synths can produce, as well as detail on the specific method of operation for a physical modular synth through a sequencer… I am a huge fan of old school analog sounds in general and modular synths are something I want to not just learn but hopefully master in some sense one day… We also had a Max demonstration and this was really helpful for taking the first few steps in understanding the software in more detail and I am already working hard to get to grips with it as fast as possible through online tutorials as well. I have set up one to one, face to face sessions to learn in more detail on this.
