if you know neutral milk hotel, it is a spin off of the collective of bands surrounding that area and culture, very much an experimental anonymous collective.
the second one is a band close to grazhdanskaya oborona, which was part of the anti ussr siberian punk scene in the 80s. this is taken from a live performance in the lead singer of grazhdansaya oborona's apartment.
oh i LOVE the beginning of the first one, very eerie for a moment, totally tickled my brain. and i couldn't understand a word of the second one, but the 80s punk scene is absolutely awesome across all languages, so it's peak by default.
