Marcy used to be a patient in the asylum, and was cared for by an orderly named Kane, who was actually quite kind to him. The two grew very close, and Kane would regularly comfort Marcy after his first (of many) surgeries.
His story somewhat ties into MaL's, as MaL became uncontrollable and basically wrecked the asylum, forcing Marcy to run away as Kane was ripped to shreds in the chaos.
Marcy's lore isn't finished, and im still working on how exactly he got to the arena, but this is all for now :)
