Organic gameplay is the way to go. We all learned from BackBreaker that on the fly animations can produce some of the most realistic outcomes. I also understand that you need great animation quality in order for those outcomes to look good. The perfect marriage is solid animation quality and organic physics, that's what we need to see in the Madden NFL Series. Check out this video, you will see solid animation quality but it is combined with a force field on the ball. This would make you believe that the animation is predetermined and not organic.
