I've not watched the episode for a long time, but it is my recollection that she had herself sent there in the sarcophagus

except at the beginning of the episode an airman said that “a person was just arrested at the mountain surface for attempting an unauthorized entrance”

I'm so very glad I found this!!! And it makes total sense and it is now my headcanon for all the things!!!

It helps make sense of everything--of all the ways Sam seemed to be acting OOC in S7-8--doesn't it!? Glad I could help out a fellow fan.

You're so welcome! I grew up in a family with a dad who liked to tell everyone he hadn't seen in a while how fat they'd gotten, and an overweight mom who was appalled by that habit of his, who taught me and my brother that you DO NOT COMMENT ON OTHER PEOPLE'S BODIES. I get a little hot under the collar about it. :-)

Not really a question, just wanted to say I love your tumblr id. Every time you reblog or like one of my posts it makes me smile because I read it as bethany ACTUALLY liked your post, or bethany ACTUALLY reblogged your post so I'm like 'WOW, somebody Actually likes the same things as me.' LOL
