AMORTENTIA
I was tagged by the lovely and lovable @gredandforgewazlib!
For me, Amortentia would probably smell of…
lemon verbena
vanilla
coffee
thunderstorms
fresh-cut grass
alfalfa fields on a hot summer day
That’s probably more than I was supposed to list but those all popped into my head, so. :D
I low key, no pressure tag: @42bottlesofbeer, @jenndoesnotcare, @potterjames, @organasoloskywalker (I got your URL right on the first try that time, yay me!), @ascendance-of-mir, and anyone else who wants to do this.

#hey bethanyactually #i'm sagittarius and i'll switch you
Works for me! ;-P
You like Percy Jackson AND The Flash?!? Heck yes!
i know im amazing aren’t I :D hahaha thanks bro
I actually was inspired to make the cross stitch because of your and jenndoesnotcare's enthusiasm for that chapter. Also, it's probably the easiest chapter of any book ever to turn into a cross stitch :D
AWESOME. :D I’m honored that I (and @jenndoesnotcare) could inspire you!
And yeah, it probably is the easiest chapter ever to turn into a cross stitch, followed by that one chapter of E&P where Eleanor considers her options:
1.
:)

My favorite thing about Rufus Sewell is that when I see him in a movie or tv show, I immediately know who to root against.
#seriously has he ever played the good guy? #i guess in The Eleventh Hour but that show was cancelled very quickly #Rufus Sewell #beautiful baddie
Yes! He played the good guy in the BBC ShakespeaReTold version of The Taming of the Shrew! He was the exuberant, quirky Petruchio to Shirley Henderson’s beautifully angry Kate.
He also played the good guy (the savior role, actually) in the sci-fi film Dark City, which is a seriously underrated movie if you ask me. Kiefer Sutherland and Jennifer Connelly are in that one too, and it’s weird and wonderful.
Ooh, he was also the hilariously broody and suave-ish country cousin Seth Starkadder in Cold Comfort Farm, which is a parody of the romanticized, tragic novels about country life that were popular at the time (the 1930s).
There are probably more Rufus Sewell roles I’m forgetting, but those are three of my favorites where he’s not the bad guy. Go forth and watch! :)

I cried during the first ten minutes :D Also, oddly enough, Dudebro comes off more as the “sassy gay friend” trope than brony friendzoni, even though we know he likes women (or at least, likes Kara)
He kinda did come off as the sassy gay friend, you’re right! Who knows what they’re doing with that character. We’ll see, I guess. :)

I watched the leaked pilot back in May&this was the only scene I hated, but more because the writers went all NO HOMO, I hear in some of the comics she was gay/bi(?) and it’s angering that they would just put a pin on that right off the bat :/
Well, that’s gross, if that’s the case. Especially since I know one of the producers is queer. :-\ But as another gifset I saw pointed out, she didn’t say she wasn’t bi...
@42bottlesofbeer reblogged your photoset “tomhazeldine: confirmed. this movie wasn’t real.”
#bethanyactually#you forgot ANDY SAMBERG#AND ANTHONY MACKIE#and also this movie came out right when my number was around 20 and i kinda hate that it makes women with higher numbers seem wrong#sorry for the tmi
omg I DID FORGET ANDY SAMBERG AND ANTHONY MACKIE. It’s been a while since I’ve watched it. I actually don’t remember Andy at all--OH WAIT YES I DO, HE WAS THE PUPPET GUY, hahahaha. And Anthony Mackie was a gay senator who wanted her to be his beard!!! And did I mention how naked Chris Evans was for a good portion of it? WHAT EVEN WAS THAT MOVIE.
(Yeah, the part about how it makes women having a higher number of partners seem wrong is gross, though I feel like in the end they sort of backtracked on that. And didn’t Evans’s character maintain throughout the movie that the whole number idea was dumb?)
