i think it’s really really interesting that most people seem to really like drawing faces and hate drawing hands but i LOVE drawing hands and have such a hard time drawing faces like i always draw the face last bc i have to redraw it 800 times and even then it usually doesn’t come out the way i want. but hands i get that shit immediately and i always wanna add too much detail bc i have so much fun drawing them. is this because i have trouble making eye contact and like looking at hands bc i’m a lesbian? probably but who knows

#just in general i like drawing bodies a lot more than faces. there was a point when i was 17/18 when i REALLY worked at drawing faces every #day where it was ok but even then it was still like these proportions are fucking weird so i’m just gonna draw A nose or AN eye not a full #face. idk why i just have trouble with it #not to say i’m not practicing bc usually before i do a drawing i do like 800 face sketches as a warm up but like #they’re weird face sketches yknow? whereas i’ve done SEVERAL hand studies and i always have hands in my drawings bc they’re fun to draw #if you go through my art i very rarely have one hand showing it’s usually two and i don’t think i have any drawings with no hands that i’ve #made recently #actually as a teenager (which was the last time i drew refularly) i also drew a lot of hands so like. lifelong thing i guess
