hii ! how have you been ? it's been 5 months since your last post, i hope you're doing well (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)⁠♡

Omg...

First off, I just wanted to apologize for literally falling off the face of the earth. I realize that I left with our saying anything so there’s a bit of an explanation/“where is this blog going?” below. School majorly is the cause of that as I realized I needed to lock down in my classwork and really shape tf up. Second, something about my own disappointment with the third game kinda started my writers block. I know it's silly but I couldn't bring myself to write and actually play the game to get new content :(

What’s going to happen to mistydeyes?

Sooo for now, I am on an indefinite hiatus!

All requests have been closed and while I do have some sitting in my drafts, I’m not too sure if/when I will get to it. I appreciate everyone who has submitted but I wanted to be totally transparent with those unfinished works

Also not to worry, I will still keep this blog up and make sure my master list is updated. So if you ever want to read any of my previous works, they’re still there

I also wanted to address that I love when y’all use my medical templates and will always support when I come across them :) You are more than welcome to use them, sorry if I haven’t made that clear in previous posts

Izzie Updates (not as important but I thought if anyone would like to know)

I took psychiatry core (basically everything you ever need to know about psych pharmacy) and needless to say, I fell in love with it! I am seriously considering pursuing a residency in the subject and hope to work in a psychiatric hospital as a pharmacist. I am taking an advanced neuropsychiatry course in the fall and cannot be more excited! I find so much interest in the field and secretly have Tumblr to thank for that (as well as Ghost, my complicated boy he is)

I also am working full time at a pharmacy during the summer and will be working in a psych hospital when I go back to school. This is partially why I think it would be the best idea to go on an indefinite hiatus as it’s gonna get busy busy for me :(

Finally, I’m entering my last year of classes before I go on rotation and I can’t tell you how happy (and also tired) I am! I will sincerely miss my little author notes that provide you all updates but that’s where I’m at now

And with that, I believe that is all for now! I am currently working on one last work for the meantime and it may or may not have to do with our fave pharmacist leaving the base pharmacy. Now that I’m realizing, that was a shameless self insert…

Anyways, I will miss the regularity of checking my page and seeing all the love as well as content from everyone. I hope you are all doing well and cannot thank you enough for the support these last couple months. If you ever see me active or furiously reblogging posts at 3am, feel free to pop in and say hi! Also if there’s any other questions or concerns I have not answered here, feel free to comment or pm me :)

wow 2k is absolutely insane!! thank you all so much for your love and support over these past few months :) everytime i visit my blog (usually in between lectures) i literally cannot believe how many people follow my silly little blog i started a few months ago! i cannot thank you all enough and i hope you are all doing well❤️

movie: everything everywhere all at once! ive literally never felt so seen by a movie before and plus i love michelle yeoh and ke huy quan, seriously please watch their acceptance speeches for the movie- literally brings me to tears

hobby: painting! i love making them as gifts for friends or just having silly ones around the house :) cats and flowers are my favorite things to paint! and the picture is actually a beer pong table i painted last year

animal: pikas! discovered them when i was hiking in yosemite but they're like little plush squirrels

character: i've been on a teen titans and harley quinn (hbo) kick and i forgot how much i LOVED dick grayson/nightwing

Hiya, I’ve absolutely fallen in love with your writing (especially because you don’t leave Gaz out 😌) and Was wondering if I could get a match up for one of the cod boys?

I use she/her pronouns and am probably what most people consider to be the bi gamer girl stereotype. My MBTI is E/INFP (just noticed we’re the same!) as I tend to swing wildly between intro and extroversion. I do enjoy being social but I’ve also got some pretty extreme anxiety. I’m not big into astrology but when people find out my big three are Aquarius/Aries/Aries they’re not surprised.

I’m an Aussie and am 170cm tall so I’m not used to being much shorter than most people (growing up I was a head taller than literally everyone so I may have developed a complex 😔) I played lots of sports growing up and am actually joining the navy soon.

My fashion sense mostly consists of Adam Sandler like attire or slutty club fit with docs. I love board games/video games/dodgeball etc and am wildly competitive. I hate cooking and suck at it completely, and my room always looks like a bomb site. I love roller coasters and the beach, but only if there’s waves. I have a degree in history/geography and am 100% a cat person. I have a care bear tattoo and would have more if I wasn’t broke. I’m a very physically affectionate person and I cry a lot over media and am very sensitive but not in a way that I’ll get upset over someone insulting me, more in a I’d cry if I stood on a cats tail. I’m very loud and once you get some alcohol in me I am the life of the dance floor even though I can’t dance.

How you met: Military You fanned yourself as you entered the large school building. Despite your Navy uniform consisting of a long white skirt and blouse, the Australian heat was making it unbearable. You had the unfortunate assignment of attending a career day at one of the local school's to talk about your unique career path. You were directed by the secretary to chat with a few other military personnel before the presentation. Eventually, you saw a friend from the Australian Army chatting with another man. As you approached, you noted that his uniform was significantly different than yours as indicated by the colors and adornments. "Private!" you exclaimed as he turned to you, "fancy seeing you here." You chatted regarding a few important life events before he directed your attention to the man next to him. "This is Sergeant Garrick," he introduced as you shook his hand, "Sergeant and previous Special Air Service member." You couldn't help but laugh slightly. "A Brit? What's he doing here?" you joked and Kyle returned with a smile. "Thought I see what your military is about," he began and you couldn't help but swoon with his pronunciation, "might make me consider joining myself." You continued to jab at the difference in your countries until your friend found himself in another conversation. You didn't mind being left with Kyle as it offered you the opportunity to discuss why you enlisted following your competitive nature and how you had previously gone to school for a history and geography degree. "So why are you here?" he asked but your explanation was cut off with the opening remarks from principal. You sat down next to Kyle, hoping you could continue you conversation over dinner.

A peek into your relationship: "You call this a beach?" you asked as you finally arrived at your destination. Your boyfriend, Kyle, laughed as you looked at the rocky shores of Brighton. While it was beautiful and you loved the pastel homes, it was far from what you knew back in Australia. "Trust me I would bring you here for more than just the beach, love," he reassured and directed you along the boardwalk. As you walked with your hands interlaced, you were led into a large game center. The color-technic lights of the various arcade games and crane machines lit the room as you adjusted from the bright sun outside. "Heard you were competitive," he joked with a smirk on your face and you knew today would be a challenge.

"Fuck me!" Kyle groaned as you won yet another round in Mario Kart. "For someone in the SAS, you sure don't have a lot of skills," you teased and collected your reward tickets. You and Kyle were evenly matched but it was clear your competitive spirit was putting you slightly ahead of the competition. As you wandered around, you saw a row of crane machines. "I hate those," you mumbled and it was as if a light turned on in Kyle's mind. He held your hand as you looked at each one, finally trying your luck with a machine full of Care Bears. As you complained over how they were a scam and impossible to win, a determined Kyle placed a token in and went to work. As you leaned over his shoulder, you were shocked when he picked up a large plush Care Bear and dropped it into the basket. "What the hell," you mumbled as he retrieved the price for you. "There are some things the Navy doesn't teach you," he beamed before kissing you on the cheek. The rest of the day you pondered a few things. First, what was the set of skills he had alluded to? and second, would it be possible to get another tattoo of this bear?

I may be short but my personality is definitely not, I’m pretty outgoing and a people person but also need time to recharge alone. I love reading and journaling and right now my hyperfixation is everything occult like Tarot or astrology. I’m a Pisces who loves to cook and be creative and I renovate my place all the time with little DIY projects. People tell me I’m pretty funny with my rather dry humour but I’m also a good listener. Johnny "Soap" Mactavish

How you met: Civilian An objective from Laswell had led Soap and Ghost into the busy Saturday morning streets. What initially started as a simple "snatch and grab mission" had gone completely south. Now, both men were hurriedly navigating through an art and flea market to capture their target. "You got eyes on them, Lt?" Soap spoke through hurried breaths as he pushed civilians out of the way and tried to keep up. "He's going South," Ghost responded and Soap changed his trajectory. Unfortunately, the new change of direction led them to a denser area filled with small booth and artisans selling their craft items. Soap eventually caught up to the man and dived into him, crashing them both into a table. You put your hand to your mouth in shock as you. saw your merchandise spew across the floor. What made it worse was that this was your first time ever running a booth like this and months of work were gone. "Oh my god," is all you managed to say as the two men got up. Soap handcuffed the swearing assailant as Ghost finally caught up. "Sorry," the Scotsman whispered as he picked up a few items. You were still in shock and could feel a few tears begin to prick as you looked around at the destroyed area. Before Soap could apologize again, Ghost decided to put him to work. "I'll get him to Laswell, you help them clean and pay whatever we broke."

A peek into your relationship: "What are you doin?" your boyfriend, Johnny, asked as you leaned over your living room table and a stack of new tarot cards. This was your latest fixation and it hadn't taken you long to get a hang of it. "Just reading my future," you said as you examined the way the cards were facing and their meaning. He immediately sat down across from you with an excited smile on his face. "Read mine!" he exclaimed and you lightly laughed before shuffling the deck for him. "Alright so this is a 4 card spread for love and relationships," you said, watching him take a card and place them down. You started with the first card and noticed it was the hermit. "What does that mean?" he questioned and you flipped through the book before reading. "Your person is one who resembles 'The Hermit'' you began and he intently listened, "they are uniquely in touch with creative outlets and expression. They are gifted with such clarity as to not depend on others to achieve their vision and are able to express themselves in various ways." As you finished, you could hear him burst out in laughter. You joined in with the contagious chuckles until you asked what was going on. "I think these cards are just you trying to say you're the one for me," he flirted and you couldn't help but laugh harder in response. "Yeah try again, Mactavish, I'm pretty sure I hated you for a long time after we met."

Whenever John returned home, you would always try to wait up for him. However as he rose the ranks and eventually became Captain to his men, you grew tired of his inconsistency and waiting on the couch until the sun rose. This time, you settled into bed before letting him know there would be leftovers in the oven for him. Your slumber was interrupted by your husband entering the bed angrily. "Welcome home, John," you smiled as you turned to him but he didn't return your affection. He looked at you silently as your eyes adjusted to the darkened room. "Something the matter?" you asked gently and you tried to hold his hand before he pulled away. "All I want is to come home to a nice cooked meal and my wife but all I got was some shitty leftovers," he spat at you and you couldn't help but feel hurt at his tone. Before you could apologize he continued on his rant. "Why the fuck do I even serve if my wife can't even do her basic duty in the kitchen?" At this, you ripped the covers off and grabbed your phone and keys. You looked at him angrily before leaving. "I don't know when you became such a misogynistic asshole but you can expect fucking nothing from me going forward," you yelled back, "I can't believe you would say that to me." Before he could respond, you slammed the door and headed off to a friend's place for the night.

Despite being the life of the party, Johnny somehow always took it too far. Whether it was an embarrassing story told to friends or a dirty joke, you made sure to tell him that it made you uncomfortable. He would apologize and kiss you gently before promising to be more civil next time. With Johnny, it was always a promise of next time and never an acknowledgment of the fact. This time, you were giving him the silent treatment after he had told a mortifying story to his teammates. "I can tell you’re mad," he called as you walked into the bathroom. You stared at him angrily as you went about your nightly routine. "I am mad, Johnny, why would you tell them that?" you said defeated, and to your tone, he laughed slightly. "Bonnie, it was a good story!" The "story" in question was a 5-minute long retelling of how you bled through your shorts and stained the tram's seat. Even Simon told Johnny to stop as you sat silent and blushing. He continued to laugh as you shoved him away and walk to the bedroom. "God you are such a fucking buzzkill, you know that?" he said, frustrated, and you whipped your head around. "I can't believe you would say that to me," you yelled back and before he could apologize, you slammed and locked the bedroom door.

The primary cause of most of your fights with Kyle was finances. Guess money was the root of all evil. Despite his comfortable wage as a Sergeant and yours at a well-paying company, he always managed to make you feel bad about your purchases. Now, he was starting an argument about the recent pile of parcels at the door. "You're bleeding money!" he exclaimed as he held them in his hands. Despite reminding him of your recent bonus, he couldn't help but throw them at your feet. "Why are you always buying things?" he demanded and you looked up at him. "Kyle, I have my own salary, I can buy what I want," you corrected but he kept berating you. He acted as if you were creating a hole in his wallet and that you hadn't contributed to bills. "Every time I come home, there's always something waiting for you," he continued, "you sit here and just spend all my goddamn money." You stood up at this point and leveled with your enraged fiancé. "Kyle," you said and he looked at you angrily, "I make these purchases on my card, I don't know why you're acting like it's the end of the world." "Because," he sneered at you, "I risk my life and limb and my lazy fiancee just sits at home and online shops." You couldn't help but raise a hand to your mouth in a mixture of disgust and surprise. "I can't believe you would say that to me," you said in a quiet tone before you grabbed your things and headed out the door. As he tried to stop you, you turned to him in a final act of anger. "Fuck you and your goddamn savior complex."

As the door slammed to your flat, you knew Simon was in one of his moods again. You braced yourself as he entered the living room. "Bad day, love?" you asked gently and he nodded before sitting down next to you. "They tried to get me to go to fucking therapy again," he groaned and you placed a reassuring touch to his shoulder. "I'm sorry to hear that," you replied and he threw his head back in annoyance. "They keep telling me I have issues," he said with large quotation marks as you held your breath. You knew Simon had a rough past and often held your tongue when he berated therapy and antidepressants. However, he always seemed to forget your previous history and neglected your feelings about the benefits of therapy. Nevertheless, you always entertained his frustrations and offered him comfort when needed. "I'm not some depressed fucker who needs to be medicated," he said cynically, "I'm not fucking weak like them." With that last statement, you couldn't help but let your hand drop from his shoulders. "I can't believe you would say that to me," you whispered and his eyes widened at his statement, you got up from the couch. "You can fucking sleep out here, Simon," you spat before he shuddered at the slamming of the bedroom door.
