「only three nights ☽」

The grand hall was filled with an array of delicious foods, exceedingly long tables and countless performers putting on their best shows for the entertainment of the royal family whom had so gracious hosted them. Everyone who had been invited was drunk off of excitement and giddy at the thought of being selected as a candidate for being the bride for the handsome prince.
It was high noon and the sun shone graciously down on the small kingdom, eliciting a constant buzzing from the townspeople that they had been blessed with such fine weather for the festival that was about to begin...
“Oh, wow! There’s so many people lining up to meet the prince..”
Dressed in a gown made of bright gold and silver with the silkiest of slippers, Chigusarella hovered some ways away from where she’d entered the grand feast. No sooner then she had arrived had she had the misfortune of running into her step-sister. Thankfully, however, they had not recognized her without her normally ragged appearance -- something she was truly grateful for from the doves who had so kindly offered her this opportunity.
Nevertheless, she didn’t want to take the chance of them figuring out that the beautiful maiden before them was nothing more then their servant step-sister. A fate much worse than death would be in store for her had she been revealed, so it was best to conceal herself for now.
After all, she’d only wanted a chance to attend the festivities -- it would be much too selfish of her to want to also take part in meeting his royal highness.
“Yeah, right. Like I’d ever get a chance like that,” she laughed quietly to herself, watching her step-sisters push their way to the front of the line to greet the prince. “I do wonder what exactly the prince would be like though..”
