𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐈𝐒 𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐄, to finding something to do with her time that doesn’t involve anyone else. in truth, aside from being with her children, helaena prefers to be alone. she doesn’t mind the quiet , the freedom to do as she wishes not governed by someone else. though, she always has a kingsguard somewhere close by it’s not uncommon for her to ask them to stay back while she sits in the garden or does needle work in her rooms. like today as she sits in the garden full of blooming flowers , fresh air , & the gentle chirping of nesting birds in trees. from time to time someone will pass her & bow , but they do not linger. perhaps they do not want to disturb her. ; mind is engrossed in a book given to her by her grandsire—a book about bugs , their detailing as written down by some maester or other before her time. the others words startle helaena as evident by the way she jumps, pulling the book against her chest in a cringe. ❛ forgive me, you startled me. ❜ said quietly , ❛ i’m reading. i felt stuffy inside, so i thought some time in the gardens might clear my head. ❜
