Sheet Pan Cakes
U knw what day it is! This Tasty Tuesday I'm posting these sheet pan cakes. The one w/strawberries is a pancake and the other is blueberry cornbread. A while back I started making my family's meals f/the entire week b/c I tired of having to stand over the stove making dozens of individual pancakes and I just knew there had to be a better way. So off to the interweb I went; to my favorite site (which shall remain nameless since this is #notanad 😉). There is where I discovered and 📍'd (😜) sheetpan meals. Of course, being my creative self I put my culinary skills to the test and came up w/my own renditions. I have to be honest and say that my first attempt at the pancake wasn't my best. It was a bit dense and the bottom was a shade or two lighter than burnt but after some tweaking, a masterpiece was born. That thing was so soft and fluffy, it was like a cross btwn white corn bread and lightly sweetened angel food cake. Bomb.com 😋! I'll post the recipe soon. Meanwhile, what recipes have u had to expand? LMK 💋
