Von Lycaon Garage Kit by Madhands, from Zenless Zone Zero
Takamisaki Forte.EXE Hobby Rock kit complete! I...I think I somehow did it, without any magnets or pins to hold him together!
The cloak was no easy task, getting it to line up properly to glue all three pieces together and still align with the holes in his shoulder to fit. I actually had to get a drill out and deepen the holes to get the pegs to fit in snugly, and I somehow then didn’t even need to glue the cloak to him.
Granted, the cloak is so heavy and weighted on one side, that I had to use something to stabilize him, so that he wouldn’t tip over. So, since 4-Inch Nel Kung Fu Cut Man can stand fine on his own, he lost his display base to Forte.
One photo with Burai, for the two anti-hero kits with their powerful ‘talk to the hand’ poses on display. Then another, where he will crush that tiny ant known as Rockman.
Doesn’t matter if I have flash on or off, I never feel like the colors and lighting of my photos really help them look how it does in person. Hard, on a gloomy, cloudy day, too. But the last pic in this set probably feels closer to how I see it.
It’s not perfect, but probably the best I’ve felt after finishing a model kit yet. For a more complicated kit, I feel pretty dang proud I got it all put together!
Until his head falls off the second it gets bumped... XD So as always with my kit posts, do the thing, Bart:
Now to finally get around to the Green Shinobi kit!!
