I'm laughing because people automatically assume that republicans on Tumblr are the same as the republicans holding American office, and then yell "conservative" while they plug their ears. I used to be one of those people, I won't deny it. But I'm now in mutuals with--and follow--several people from "that side" of the tumbles and honestly they're some of the chillest, funniest dudes I've met on here, not to mention they've got some kickass debate skills. One is even in the lgbt+ community and as far as I know they are all pro choice?? Like ayyyy these guys or people like them could very well be the future of the republican party and if they are, it's looking like a pretty bright future indeed.
