I'm playing through Jedi Fallen Order.

I am awful at the fights, but can platform like a pro.

My brother can fight, but falls to his death every time.

Between the two of us we are one competent gamer.

I think the Templars are the worst, but I'm doing their side quest instead just for something new to do. I guess you get Cole differently? Maybe it will make me less indifferent to him? Adventure awaits!

7 hours into FFXV and I have questions!!

So...Noctis and the Boys are all using their regular cell phones? There's no fear of being tracked?? Iris literally just phoned up to say hi, how is that ok? Why haven't we ditched the tech and bought some burner phones?? This is rule #1 of going off the grid, boys!

Our kingdom is occupied, but some lady (who Gladio may or may not have banged back at hammerhead) wants us to get frogs??

Also prompto wants us to stop by Chocobo world? Scratch that -- I don't question this, whatever sweet baby Prompto wants, sweet baby gets.

Who was that guy in the mech who we exploded?? I really should have watched Kingsglaive (I did watch the cute animated shorts about each of the guys, though!)

In the cutscene with the evil emperor dude, who the hell were all those people? Was that blonde guy Lady Luna's brother? Why is he cool with her being killed? Is her brother just a dick like that?

On the subject of Luna, aren't there consequences or something to the Oracle dying? Would it really be worth it for the evil emperor dude to kill her?

Does the evil emperor not have any real subjects/soldiers? Are they all just empty suits?? This is an interesting way to get around the protagonist-is-a-murderer thing that's been big recently, I'll give them props for that. You can't murder them if they're not alive!!

I cracked. I’m downloading the 10 hr trial of mass effect Andromeda. It happened something like this:

My brother: OH MY GOD people are streaming Andromeda! How are they doing this!!!??

Me: The trial dropped yesterday afternoon

My brother: have you been playing??

Me: Nope, I have this thing called a job. Also no EA Access account. And I still have the Trespasser dlc to do for Dragon Age.

My brother: I have an EA access account…But no Xbox one :(

Me: …Well I have an Xbox one but no EA Access account…

And the rest is rock'n'roll history. Or it will be when this beast of a game finishes downloading.

So I am intentionally making my Scott Ryder kinda doofy and I’m having a blast. Looking forward to playing his much more of a hard ass sister when I start playing the game for real next week.
