1. What is your favorite time of day?
I love the time right before I go to sleep because if it's been a good or busy day I can go to sleep relieved, and if it's been a bad day I can go to sleep knowing that the next day could be much better
2. What is one thing you do to calm yourself down when you’re worked up or anxious?
Breathing is really helpful when I feel like I can do it. But sometimes that's too hard even though it's so simple.
3. What is your favorite quality or characteristic (physical and/or personal) about yourself?
I really love the color and pattern of my eyes. And my butt. I have a really nice butt and I'm not afraid to tell the world.
4 Girl crush?
Merida from Brave. Super mega girl crush.
5. Favorite quote?
"My thoughts are stars I can't fathom into constellations."
-John Green
6. Favorite form of physical activity?
I definitely love running, there is no doubt about that. But what I really love and miss like crazy sometimes are the batting lessons I used to take for softball. There was just something in being in the cage for a solid half hour, just taking swing after swing and listening to my coach explain the minor corrections to make. I could just focus on a few little things and just watching the ball and I could shut out all my other stress and just focus on these little tasks. I really really miss being able to do that sometimes.
7. What is one thing (and it can be ANYTHING) you wish you could tell a certain one person?
I have no idea what I truly want anymore. Not in you, but in myself.
8. Favorite vegetable?
I'm really growing to like spinach in things. Plus it gives me iron that I really need in natural foods!
9. What do you like best about laughter?
I like that it sometimes reveals a side to someone that they don't always make apparent. Like there is polite laughter that doesn't really show anything but then sometimes you see a person genuinely laugh at something that they love or enjoy and it lights up their eyes and their face and you just feel like you know a little part of them better.
10. List three songs that really sink into your soul.
Oh gosh, there are so freaking many and yet so few. You know?
-Willamette Mountain by Joshua James
-Broken Horse by Freelance Whales
-On Your Porch by The Format
11. If there are three places you could visit for free for three weeks each, where would you go and why?
-Russia, with a stop at Lake Baykal. I really want to see somewhere that has grown on a culture so radically different from us. And Lake Baykal contains 20% of the world's freshwater, is over a mile deep in some places, and is absolutely beautiful.
-Antarctica, because no one ever talks about it and it would normally be incredibly expensive so I might as well take advantage of the free trip.
-Great Britain because, you know, the countryside. And the accents.
