The whole Met Outdoor Club is graduating in less than a month and I wanted to do something nice for them. First I thought about buying them green cords to go with their graduation gowns, then I remembered that one of them is also in the Makers’ Club and is a badass using the laser cutter. I quickly designed a medal to be cut and etched in wood. The graphic is by a designer named Patrimonio, and it features a female hiker amongst mountains and pine trees. I just added the wording and a star with a circle to be cut inside of it. I went to Michael’s and bought leather string to be used as necklaces. ¡Sas! Wood and leather, very outdoorsy! I’m going to miss this crew! Shout out to Lola, Xandra, Sophia, Jenna, Nia, Evelin, Josh, Pedro, Jeremiah, J’Wan, Carlo, and Renee. We went on some amazing hikes over the past four years! Keep on hiking! #onlyatthemet #metoutdoorclub #maestroxicano #classof2018 (at The Met Sacramento High School) https://www.instagram.com/xicogonzalez/p/Bi54uPzBQnohBl4-CQb8KO6FFh9Npkk7LX3EC40/?igshid=jkdclr03btga
