Modo’s got a really busy job, both as the mob boss and active player 11 for the Vineland Thorns.

He needed an assistant. Though I don’t think his assistant quite realizes what he’s in for. . .

I have fallen down the AU rabbit hole and I cannot find my way out—

Sometime after the Thorns vs Shadows game, the twins managed to convince Modo to go explore Sunken City with them.

Some members of the Shadows were still sour about losing to a “small,” and upon coincidentally running into Modo and the twins, decided to get some payback for the humiliating defeat.

Unfortunately (for the Shadows) Archie had tagged along to help Modo feel more comfortable in his childhood home.

And if there’s one thing you don’t want, it’s getting stuck between Archie and his kids.
