I like the idea of mafia Eclipse play fighting/roughhousing with his kids. Especially his daughters

It’s just really sweet because he has to be so gentle, but in a roundabout way he’s teaching them how to protect themselves

Also just imagining one of his older kids “attacking” him and he just casually locks their arms behind their backs while continuing to do whatever he was doing

In all the au variants (except the years later au) Eclipse is in his late 50s to early 60s. The only reason he seems younger is because he takes good care of himself and keeps up with his maintenance.

But he is an old man!

Mafia Eclipse would in fact spoil you with gifts for Christmas. Don’t let the man so much as catch you GLANCING at something because it will end up under the tree

He’s also surprisingly festive and is more than happy to help decorate the house and put up lights and other things outside

All of you should know that I often think about the much later in life things with Mafia Eclipse. Like watching over the years as his little wife slowly grows old. Hair starting to grey and face starting to wrinkle.

And yet he always find the beauty in you and treats you with the soft love he's always had for you. In an odd way, he enjoys watching you grow old even he doesn't really age the same way you do. He tries to cherish the years he has knowing they won't last forever.

Sorry, I'm feeling sappy thinking about Eclipse managing to soften even more as his wife grows older and maybe even a little sad knowing how long he'll outlive you

The kids actually don’t know about Eclipse’s mafia status. He decides it’s best to keep it from them as long as he can. He doesn’t want his work anywhere near his kids.

Emanuel is the only one that knows.

A good way to know the Eclipse trusts you is that he allows you to touch his face or behind his head.

Of course, everything is reinforced and covered, but there’s still a lot of very important and fragile mechanisms in his head. Getting to hold his head of touch his face is one of the most vulnerable things for him.
