Like… is he for real? Does he NOT know his own family tree? How has he been king for so long and never acknowledged that!? For crying out loud there’s an entire CONSTELLATION based off them! He’s either THAT ignorant to Majalom’s own history, or he’s purposely trying to ignore it to protect his own “idea” of what Majalom should be! Neither one makes him look good!

So fun fact! One of the things the tyrant king Mafolor did, was burn up nearly all records of royal history predating his own rule, and even then the time of Jorrolor was so far back that history would've forgotten about his partner natrually... There's just no documents of it! The constellation that repersents them isn't even widely agreed upon to be them, they know for sure that one of the lovers is a felinoid king but nobody is quite sure who the others meant to be, some think it's a dragon!

So it's less that he's stupit and more that. This story takes place over the entierty of the lifetime of an entire universe and he is simply mortal, he cannot know the past in full, and he never really went digging all too much, sticking to learning about any monarch past Mafolor... And of course the creation myth with Jorrolor, which IS very well preserved unlike most everything else from his time
