Hi! I have been given different ruling opinions but would love to know the final word. If I have Enchanted Evening on the field, and then play Bane of Progress, would his effect happen before he too becomes an enchantment - thus wiping the board and leaving him a giant monster... or would he resolve into an enchantment, thus destroying himself as well? Thanks for your help! (Super hoping he doesn't just destroy himself too)
Bane of Progress’s ability is a triggered ability, so it will resolve when Bane is already on the battlefield. This means that Bane will destroy itself along with all other permanents when its trigger resolves.
