Familiars and what they are
With the bunny i drew, i knew i wanted to lock in and actually just RUN WITH THE IDEAS. i got brain blasted with ideas and i will not let that slip me by. so! for my show and tell, we will be using my only examples here!

now, what is a familiar? what does it do?
Familiars are more than just there to look pretty and be obvious when your lying, they also serve as a mages weapons. they hope up and turn into whatever weapon their mage desires. if you have a good relationship obvi.
someone who hates themselves for instance can sometimes struggle to even summon their weapon. amongst other issues.
self love guys, super important. especially for mages!
i enjoy very much the concept of having tradition and non traditional practices of magic. sticking to the right way to do spells and right weapons, and i do love when people break those rules.
