I was actually going to upload a comic showing how Stan interacted with Fiddleford in the past , but greed got the better of me.

in soul eater, some people can transform into weapons, and some people (called meisters) are able to wield those weapons. the ability to be a weapon is just a genetic thing, but the ability to wield is basically just like a "if you're awesome enough you can do it" thing. for weapons and meisters to be able to use/be used by each other, it works like this:
so basically it's chemistry and trust based. (also don't quote me on this lore i havent read soul eater since i was like 12)
all that to say, between bill fiddleford ford and stan, disregarding who's capable of being a weapon,
who would be meisters?

i never really got fiddauthor shippers who don't like billford because "its toxic", because fiddauthor is ALSO incredibly toxic. ford and fiddleford treated eachother like SHIT. fiddleford used the memory gun on ford after ford had genuine concerns about a memory erasing device and told him to destroy it, ford sucked at caring for fiddlefords mental and even physical health and disregarded any and all concerns fiddleford had for the portal, FIDDLEFORD AND STANFORD WERE HORRIBLE FOR EACHOTHER TOO. just because bill outwardly physically abused ford doesn't mean ford and fidds also weren't abusive towards eachother in ways other than physical. they disregarded eachothers emotions and autonomy multiple times throughout journal 3. i hate it when fiddauthor shippers try to act like they have the moral highground and ship the healthiest ship when we literally see how terrible they were to eachother
An AU where Salesman Stan meets a Fiddleford whose personal computer business wasn't doing so hot. He tells Fiddleford all he needed was a catchy (or cringey) name for his product.
"Introducing the Fold-a-ford! The Foldable computer you can afford!"
Cue Stanley being coerced into being Fiddleford's marketing team, and everything snowballing from there.
(Later on, the world gets introduced to the I-pho-I mean the "Fiddlephone!")
