Magestar is a GMless game about a group of magical people exploring the ruins of a world 50 years after the apocalypse. But now they're harnessing that apocalypse to give themselves special powers- how cool is that???

Magestar: Funded Day One

Thanks for supporting my post-apocalyptic fantasy mapmaking game! Not only did Magestar meet its funding goal day 1, but it exceeded it again by half.

I've been thinking about how to thank folks for this lovely show of support. For now, I've added a stretch goal! We're currently just $70 away from an additional playbook: the Slayer!

Provided we reach that target by the end of the month, everyone who has backed Magestar- whether digitally or physically- will receive an extra playbook. The Slayer is someone who once hunted monsters, but has since shifted focus to supporting their community. It plays into a lot of Big Feelings I have about monster media, and I hope I get the chance to share it with you all.

Right now I am a full-time game designer! This is a more positive way of saying my day job made me redundant but...still!
