some thoughts before i go to bed
i've seen the whole dead dad thing and i've never been fond of that, SO i was originally thinking they have a dad that works in a different town and isn't home v often? but now i'm thinking his parents got divorced a year or so after natsu was born and his dad moved away. he sends a check each months and calls them once a week, but he and his dad aren't super close like he is with his sister and mom. they get along, though.
i also think they don't have a lot of money? his mom has a part-time job at a grocery store or something and they don't have a lot of extra spending money. so he doesn't have a lot of experience w electronics (he knows how to work computers and play video games, he's just not as good as like i would be at it since i've been doing that every day for my entire life) which is ok because he and natsu prefer playing outside anyway. they probably have some older systems and things, though.
this is mainly because 1. i still think it's hilarious that shoyo apparently never googled the small giant and 2. i think it'd be cute if shoyo's just plain bad at video games and kenma teases him about it
but man now i wanna go back and find all the panels i can of shoyo's room and house so i can examine them to see if i need to completely reject these thoughts or not lol
