In a day of unrelenting rain, there was a brief burst of sunlight from the sea. This inch of sunlight illuminated my EQ Nicholson ‘Black Goose’ fabric, Parisian mannequin and mini Maggi Hambling sea picture. It makes me realise how much we took the sunlight for granted during the last lockdown. Apart from this moment it’s been so dark.
